Join the Pilgrimage—For a Day or the Entire Journey!
In celebration of the Jubilee Year, parishioners from across the diocese are embarking on a multi-day walking pilgrimage from St. John the Evangelist in Warrenton to the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington.
You are warmly invited to join us for any part of the pilgrimage—whether for one stage, one day, or the final few steps into the Cathedral.
We especially encourage everyone to walk with us on the final day, Saturday, August 9, from St. Leo the Great to the Cathedral:
9:00 AM – Blessing of Pilgrims at St. Leo the Great
3:00 PM – Confessions at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More
4:30 PM – Vigil Mass at the Cathedral

🙏 Please keep all our pilgrims in your prayers as they walk in faith, hope, and unity—especially those offering this journey for intentions close to their hearts.
“How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord, God of hosts… They walk with ever growing strength, they will see the God of gods in Zion.” —Psalm 84
We hope to see many familiar faces walking in faith and fellowship.
For those who cannot walk the entire stage, feel free to meet us at the Cathedral for Confession (3:00 PM) and Mass (4:30 PM).
