As we continue to mourn the death of Pope Francis, we invite all parishioners to join us in praying a novena for the repose of his soul, beginning Saturday, April 26—the day of his burial.
This nine-day novena, part of the traditional novendiales period of mourning, has been provided by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops at the request of Bishop Burbidge. The prayers include short readings from Sacred Scripture or other Church texts, along with brief prayers from the Roman Missal and the Order of Christian Funerals.
